Parallel Voices

There are seven color lithographs on folded sheets that form a triptych.  When closed, the Chinese poems are on the left, the Western on the right. When open, the lithograph is in the center and with excerpts from the Chinese poem and the Western. These excerpts with the singular image represent parallel poetic voices. The first image below shows the closed page with the poems “ The Moon in a Wine Cup” and “Still Life”. The second image is the lithograph for the poems. This format is repeated on each page.  Closed in a clam shell box, the book is 13.5 high X 11.5 wide.
